Ross Begelman is a member of the Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York Bar Associations. Mr. Begelman graduated in the top 5% of his class at Delaware School of Law at Widener University, in May of 1979. He then became a congressional aid in the United States House of Representatives. He was appointed a Deputy Attorney General specializing in economic crimes, fraudulent business practices and complex criminal litigation by Governor Byrne of New Jersey and reappointed to this position by Governor Kean. In August of 1987, Mr. Begelman opened his own firm always emphasizing personal client contact and aggressive representation. He became known throughout the State of New Jersey and Southeastern Pennsylvania as a persuasive litigator in the areas of Civil Litigation, Personal Injury Law, Criminal Defense, Employment Law, and Whistle Blower Claims.
Since then Mr. Begelman, along with his partner Marc Orlow, has provided New jersey and Pennsylvania clients with the area’s most aggressive and personal representation. Mr. Begelman’s civil practice has included major prosecutions of Construction Litigation, Personal Injury Claims, Class Action Litigation, Corporate Fraud and Whistle Blower Claims. Begelman & Orlow, P. C., Attorneys at Law has successfully litigated one of the nations largest whistle blower claims against a major retail pharmacy, resulting in a very large finders fee for his client.
His aggressive, yet personable, approach to the law and representation of his clients have rewarded him with both praise by both judges and adversaries alike. Trial Judges have commented that he is one of the great trial attorneys, his prosecution of the case was stellar and stated I would not want to be cross examined by him. In commenting on both Mr. Begelman and Mr. Orlow’s representation of a client in a complex and hotly litigated civil case, the judge said If I am ever in trouble, I will have you represent me. Mr. Begelman is a member of the Board of Governors for the New Jersey Association for Justice, the Pennsylvania Association for Justice, and Taxpayers Against Fraud. Mr. Begelman prides himself on his relationships that he has built over many years and his reputation as an aggressive zealous advocate.
