Officials are reporting that a crash between a school bus and a car has resulted in the critical injury of a 6-month-old baby. The accident occurred at the intersection of Carolier Lane and Route 130 North. Local law enforcement suspects the bus struck the car, however details of the accident are still being investigated.
Local authorities hope to discover which party crossed the intersection illegally and caused the crash. North Brunswick police are also investigating where or not the child was properly restrained during the crash.
Other victims in the crash were on the bus and those injured include two adults and the bus driver. All victims, including the baby were taken to a nearby hospital by emergency services.
